Shalom, This is me, I am a born again Christian of about 6 years, brought out of drink, drugs, smoking, Delivered in one day after about 32 years by the grace of God. .Jesus came to heal the sick bind up the broken hearted, cast out demons and make people whole. Luke 9.11 says Jesus spoke to the multitudes about the Kingdom of God, and healed those that were in need of healing. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Salvation is being delivered being healed and being made Whole. Praise God.
John 8.12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying I am the light of the world, He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.
John-7-37.38 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, saying, If anyone, thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the scriptures say, out of his heart will flow streams of living waters, mayim chaim. This great day of the feast was the feast of tabernacles, in the hebrew scriptures every day for 7 days the priests would fill water jugs from siloam, then they would walk up the temple steps to all the people who were singing Hallel psalms, psalms 113-118, then they would pour out the water on the pavement symbolizing Yahwehs provision of water in b` midbar[the wilderness], out of the rock, which was Jesus. Isaiah 12-3 says, Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation, which is Yeshua giving us the Ruach Ha Kodesh, [The Holy Spirit] .

So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He opened the book, He found the place where it was written.
The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to bring good tidings unto the humble; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Isaiah 61.1. He said to them, Today this scripture is being fulfilled before your eyes.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Matthew 21 8-9 and 5, And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road, others cut down branches from trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went out before and those who followed cried out saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Baruch Haba Ba shem Adoni, which is Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! Hosanna in the highest!. Verse 5, Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.
Zechariah 9.9 Rejoice greatly, Oh daughter of Zion, Shout oh daughter of Jerusalem, Behold, your King is coming to you, He is just and having Salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. A wonderful verse in the Hebrew scriptures, talkin about Jesus riding triumphantly into Jerusalem. This prophecy is about 500 years before Jesus was even born. Praise GOD.
The whole world needs a Saviour. The church today, the body of Messiah. Some people in the church today, and probably have through the most of history, blamed the death of Jesus on the Jewish nation as a whole. This belief has resulted in a lot of hatred towards the Jewish people who we are commanded to love just as any body else. Galations 5-14 says the whole of Torah is summed up in this, Love your neighbour as your self, Who is our neighbour, as christians it is everybody,no matter what race. At a first glance in scripture it looks as though it was the Jews who crucified our Messiah, Acts3.14-15, Luke 23. 21 and various others as well. What we must see is Jesus came first for the lost sheep of Israel. He was rejected when he came, but not by all the Jews. The feeding of the 5ooo, they were all Jews, all the people shouting Hosanna, Hosanna as he road into Jerusalem were all Jews, all his disciples were Jews, his mother and earthly father were Jews and so on. The Bible was written by Jews, Jesus was and is a Jew, the Lion of Judah. So it was not just the Jews that killed our saviour. For people who really believe this, they ought to thank them even more, or they wouldn`t even have a saviour at all. It was mostly the corrupt leaders conspiring with the romans who were all involved in this, as Jesus was exposing all their hypocrisy. At the end of the day it was the Fathers plan, John.3.16. Jesus said, I lay down my own life freely, no one can take it from me, I have authority to lay it down, and take it back up again, John, 10.18. The point in all this is, we are all in a fallen world and need a remedy for sin. Romans 6.23 says, The wages of sin are death, The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hebrews 9.22 says without the shedding of blood there is no remmision of sins. In the hebrew scriptures the only remedy for forgiveness of sin was a high priest going once a year into the Holy of Holies and sacrificing an animal. By doing that, Israels sin was covered for one year, and it had to be done every year. Now there is no more blood of goats and bulls needed as it says in Hebrews. Jesus died for all who believe and receive him. We are washed clean of all sin in the Blood of Jesus, if we go to Him our [Cohen ha Gadol] our High Priest and confess and repent of our sins, that is doing a complete turn around from our old ways. This is for anybody as God wants none to perish but to all have eternal life. The way the truth the life, the only way to the Father, Yeshua our messiah. It was not the Jews who killed Jesus, it was sin, He had to die for us all who come to him or we would have no saviour. But don`t forget, He didn`t just die. HE IS RISEN, OUR FIRST FRUITS, PRAISE THE LORD.
Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem and it was winter. And Yeshua walked in the Temple, in Solomons porch. This would have been the 25th of Kislev , about the late november or early December. The feast was Hanukka meaning dedication,it was an 8 day feast which the Jews celebrated concerning the re dedication of the Temple after it had been defiled by antiochus epiphanes. The history of the festival goes back to round about 175 BC. That is when antiochus epiphanes the greek King came to power in Judea, his name meaning God manifest. He came imposing greek hellenist culture on the Jews, some accepted but many would not deny their faith and be hellenized. In 170 BC there was put in place a law requiring all citizens to present themselves 4 times a year, to pay homage to the King as God. The day chosen to this was shabbat and most refused. In 168 BC antiochus epiphenes went into the Temple, into the Holy of Holies and sacrificed a pig on the alter and polluted the Temple. He dedicated it to jupiter and erected a statue. H e then forbade circumcision under a penalty of death. Then he ordered the Jews to eat pig meat which is abhorent to them. One of the officers of the greeks ordered a priest named mathias to eat it, he refused and another Jew offered to eat it, Mathias was outraged and he killed them both. Mathias and his family and followers then went into hiding in the hills. Eventually they were able to conquer the hellenists and regain control over the Temple. They now had to sanctify the Temple from all defilement. They had to make a new menorah to burn the purifying oil. It had to burn for eight days , but there was only enough oil to burn for one day, but by a miracle it burned for the full eight days. This is why hanukka is celebrated every year starting on the 25th of kislev for eight days . The menorah that is used now has eight branches and one in the middle which is called the shamash [ the servant candle]. The shamash is lit first, then every day for eight days the others are lit one by one from the servant candle. Hanukka means dedication, it is the festival of light, our messiah is the light of the world [ the servant candle, the messiah ]. Just think if the maccabees would not have got back the Temple and re dedicated it, the hellenists would probably have destroyed it, Jesus would not have had a Temple to go to. History would have changed, we would not have had a messiah. Think about this festival, it is of great importance to christians to understand. Praise the Lord.
